Job Overview

A law firm seeks a commercial real estate finance associate in Charlotte. The candidate should have 2 or more years of experience representing lenders in the financing of commercial properties.

Duties

• Represent commercial and investment banks, insurance companies, and other lenders.
• Conduct title, survey, lease, and other commercial property diligence.
• Work on the origination of loans secured by commercial properties.
• Engage in real estate owner/operator, developer, and equity side work, including leasing.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance.
• Exposure to mezzanine loans and commercial mortgage loan securitization is a plus.

Education

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Member of the Bar in the United States.

• Strong analytical and diligence skills.
