A law firm seeks a Senior Litigation Associate Attorney with two to five plus years of experience to join its real estate team in Chesterfield, Missouri. The firm's practice primarily involves civil litigation related to real estate contracts, deeds, title, access, easements, adverse possession, liens, and lien priorities, along with some transactional real estate matters and general business litigation.

Duties

• Gather evidence in support of client strategy
• Take depositions
• Attend court as required
• Conduct discovery
• Perform legal research
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents

Requirements

• 2-5+ years of experience in litigation
• Prior experience in property or lending law preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage and track a volume caseload with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Ability to work efficiently with corporate professionals
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Education

• Must be licensed and able to practice law in Missouri
• A law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• Licensure in other states is a plus

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri
