Location:

Duties:

• Prepare and draft legal documents for filing with appropriate entities and correspondence.
• Draft pleadings and motions, including judgments and orders.
• Correspond with attorneys, court personnel, and clients regarding cases.
• Interview witnesses for court cases and prepare them to testify.
• Ensure the accuracy of all documents prepared.
• Appear in court promptly for all assigned cases.
• Manage all aspects of assigned cases from start to finish.
• Perform administrative duties such as filing, mailing, and organizing legal files and pleadings.
• Conduct legal research on case-specific issues.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• MO state bar license required.
• Family law experience is preferred but not required.
• Senior Associate roles are available for attorneys with five or more years of litigation experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload and interact with clients effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• MO State Bar membership required.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in legal drafting and document preparation.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently.
• Trial experience preferred, but not mandatory.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other legal professionals.
