Job Overview
A law firm seeks a highly-skilled associate attorney to join its Workers' Compensation group in Pittsburgh, PA. The successful candidate will manage a variety of workers' compensation cases.

Duties

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct thorough legal research.
• Draft pleadings, respond to written discovery, and handle court hearings and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, the court, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Travel for court appearances and client meetings as necessary.
• Work from the Pittsburgh office in a hybrid capacity.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience, preferably in workers' compensation matters.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active and good standing bar license in PA.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated interest in workers' compensation law.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Active bar license in Pennsylvania.
