Junior to Mid-Level Structured Finance Associate

Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Associate Attorney to support its Structured Finance practice group. This full-time position is ideal for attorneys with 3–5 years of experience in derivatives and structured finance. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in over-the-counter derivatives, ISDA documentation, and applicable regulatory frameworks. This opportunity offers hybrid work flexibility and is open to multiple major U.S. office locations.

Location:

• Phoenix, AZ

Duties:

• Support complex structured finance transactions across diverse asset classes

• Draft and negotiate ISDA Master Agreements and related documentation, including:

  • Schedules

  • Credit Support Annexes

  • Confirmations

• Advise on compliance with ISDA Dodd-Frank and other regulatory protocols

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and correspondence

• Collaborate with attorneys and business professionals across offices

• Provide timely, high-quality legal advice to clients and internal stakeholders

• Meet case and transactional deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Participate in client meetings, conference calls, and virtual negotiations

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in structured finance and/or derivatives

• Familiarity with ISDA documentation and regulatory frameworks is required

• Prior experience at an Am Law 100 firm is preferred

• Ability to manage transactions and client needs independently and collaboratively

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the jurisdiction of one of the listed offices
