Duties

• Counsel clients on environmental law matters related to transactions, permitting, and compliance.
• Advise on environmental aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and real estate transactions.
• Draft and negotiate contractual provisions regarding environmental risk allocation.
• Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for corporate and real estate transactions.
• Provide guidance on compliance with federal and state environmental statutes and regulations.
• Represent clients before regulatory agencies regarding permitting and enforcement matters.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop proactive compliance strategies.

Requirements

• 12 years of experience in environmental law, with emphasis on transactions and compliance.
• Demonstrated success advising clients on environmental due diligence and risk management.
• Strong understanding of federal and state environmental regulations.
• Experience negotiating contractual provisions in transactional matters.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage client relationships.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar (active and in good standing).
• Additional environmental or compliance-related certifications preferred.
