Duties

• Represent clients in litigation matters, including trials, hearings, and mediations.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Negotiate settlements to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to prepare cases for trial.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure documentation is current.
• Provide legal advice regarding clients' rights and obligations.
• Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting cases.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in North Carolina.
• Experience in a law office setting preferred.
• Strong legal research skills and proficiency with Westlaw or similar platforms.
• Excellent negotiation skills and effective client advocacy.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing multiple cases.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Education
