A law firm based in Charleston, SC is seeking a skilled associate attorney to support its corporate and transactional practice. Duties:

• Draft, review, and negotiate supply, purchase, service, transportation, and other commercial agreements

• Advise clients on general corporate matters, including governance and structuring

• Contribute to merger, acquisition, and business reorganization transactions

• Collaborate with legal and business professionals on complex commercial projects

• Maintain regular contact with clients and provide pragmatic, business-oriented counsel

• Conduct legal research and stay informed on corporate and commercial developments

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in corporate transactional work

• Proficiency in handling commercial contracts and general business agreements

• Strong analytical, writing, and oral communication abilities

• Willingness to ask questions, learn quickly, and adapt to new legal challenges

• Ability to thrive in a team-driven and client-focused environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent legal degree from an accredited institution

Certifications:

• Active membership or eligibility for admission to the South Carolina State Bar preferred
