The ideal candidate will have significant experience in business and transactional law, focusing on mergers and acquisitions for private equity sponsors and complex corporate transactions.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate definitive and ancillary transaction documents.
• Support acquisitions, divestitures, and add-on transactions.
• Manage all phases of the deal lifecycle from structuring to post-transaction.
• Collaborate with deal teams and clients, including private equity funds and management teams.
• Address governance, financing, and operational considerations in strategic transactions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of sophisticated business and transactional experience.
• Strong focus on middle-market mergers and acquisitions.
• Ability to navigate complex subject matter effectively.
• Ambition, drive, and team-orientation to support national practice growth.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the Missouri Bar.
