Insurance Coverage Litigation Counsel
The candidate will be drafting complex case evaluations, drafting pleadings, motions and other litigation documents, Working on all aspects of litigation from inception through trial and appeal where relevant, Conducting legal research and writing memoranda, Conducting, propounding and responding to discovery (documents, written discovery, depositions), Working with clients, witnesses, experts and other counsel, Analyzing insurance coverage and extra-contractual disputes, including drafting coverage opinions or other coverage analyses, Has exceptional writing and analytical skills, and can effectively communicate research into meaningful written work product, Possesses superior organizational and time-management skills, Demonstrates an ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, as well as adversaries and courts, Has excellent interpersonal, networking and business development skills, Minimum of 8-10 years of litigation experience, Extensive insurance litigation experience and well-versed in California state procedure and rules , Strong writing and case management skills, direct experience handling clients and adversaries, and excellent oral advocacy skills , Federal District Court or Appellate clerkship is a plus. Should be licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia and be in good standing.
