Job Overview:
A dynamic and fast-growing family law firm is seeking a seasoned Senior Attorney to join its Atlanta office. This role is ideal for an experienced litigator with a strong foundation in family law, who is confident in managing a high caseload and mentoring junior attorneys. The position involves courtroom advocacy, strategic case planning, and a leadership role within a collaborative and values-driven legal team. The successful candidate will be organized, empathetic, solution-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Duties:
Represent clients in family law matters including trials, mediations, and arbitrations
Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal briefs
Conduct legal research to support case strategies
Supervise and mentor junior attorneys on case management and legal techniques
Collaborate with internal staff to meet deadlines and enhance client outcomes
Guide clients with empathy and clarity through emotionally challenging legal situations
Maintain awareness of evolving laws and procedural rules
Contribute ideas to improve internal policies, procedures, and team efficiency
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of legal experience, including at least 3 years focused on Georgia family law
Proven track record of courtroom litigation and client representation
Demonstrated ability to manage a heavy caseload independently
Strong problem-solving orientation with a focus on solutions and efficiency
Ability to mentor others and work effectively in a team-driven environment
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
Certifications:
Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia
Membership in local bar associations preferred
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic case management systems
Exceptional legal writing and oral advocacy skills
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
High emotional intelligence and client-centered communication style
