Duties:

• Conduct detailed fact analysis and legal research to support case strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Take and defend depositions in a variety of cases.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Assist in trial preparation and hearings.
• Provide sound legal advice during client meetings and consultations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to ensure high-quality legal representation.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Knowledge of Georgia workers' compensation law or general liability law preferred.
• Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research methodologies and tools.
• Strong written communication skills for drafting legal documents.
• Effective oral advocacy skills for court appearances and negotiations.
