Senior Labor and Employment Counsel

A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Senior Labor and Employment Counsel with a strong background in both litigation and client counseling across a broad spectrum of employment law issues. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in litigating employment-related matters, including discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims before government agencies, and state, and federal courts. Familiarity with California wage and hour class actions and PAGA claims is preferred. The successful candidate should possess excellent academic credentials, a commitment to community involvement, superior interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to excel under pressure. The role requires exceptional judgment, effective project management, and the ability to articulate legal strategies. A California Bar license is a prerequisite.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on a full range of employment law issues.
• Litigate various employment issues, including discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims.
• Handle cases before government agencies, state, and federal courts.
• Work on California wage and hour class actions and PAGA claims.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in labor and employment law.
• California Bar license.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
