A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Law Senior Attorney in El Segundo, CA. The ideal candidate will have over eight years of experience, particularly in the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), and a strong background in employment litigation and defense.

Duties

• Manage and oversee PAGA claims, including class action-style lawsuits.
• Develop and execute legal strategies for PAGA claims.
• Monitor and manage the discovery process.
• Provide counsel on compliance with California labor laws.
• Assist clients in developing policies related to wage and hour issues.
• Evaluate and advise on new legislation affecting PAGA claims.
• Foster and expand client relationships.
• Develop and deliver presentations on PAGA compliance.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and staff.

Requirements

• Well-established employment litigation and defense background.
• Significant PAGA/Class/Compliance expertise.
• Jury trial/civil court trial experience preferred.
• Experience with public entity defense is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's and Juris Doctor degrees.

Certifications

• Member, State Bar of California in good standing.
