Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate to join its Commercial Litigation group in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will manage key phases of complex commercial disputes, including brand and reputational matters, and support trial preparation and strategy.

Duties

• Handle written and document discovery.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Assist with witness preparation.
• Support all aspects of trial preparation and strategy.

Requirements

• Admitted to the California bar.
• Outstanding academic credentials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in discovery, researching, drafting, and arguing pleadings and motions.
• Experience with witness preparation and depositions.
• Experience with both defense and plaintiff side litigation is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar admission.

Skills
