Job Overview:

A national law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Partner to join its Orlando, FL office. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a seasoned defense attorney with at least 10 years of experience in labor and employment law, professional liability, and/or general liability. Location:

• Orlando, FL

Duties:

• Lead and manage complex litigation matters in labor & employment, professional liability, or general liability

• Handle case strategy, motion practice, discovery, depositions, mediations, and trials

• Collaborate with other partners and associates across multiple practice areas

• Maintain strong relationships with clients and contribute to the development of new business opportunities

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and support staff

• Participate in leadership initiatives within the firm as applicable

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in defense litigation

• Substantive expertise in at least one of the following areas:
  • General Liability
  • Professional Liability
  • Employment Practices Liability (EPL)

• Demonstrated success in client service, case management, and litigation outcomes

• Leadership or mentorship experience within a law firm environment preferred

• No portable book of business required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Florida State Bar

Skills:

• Excellent oral advocacy and legal writing skills

• Strong litigation strategy and courtroom presence

• Business development mindset and client relationship management experience

• Ability to collaborate across practice groups and lead case teams

• Commitment to professional development and firm-wide inclusion initiatives
