Job Overview: A law firm in Orlando, FL is seeking a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in tax credit finance to join their distinguished legal team. The role offers the opportunity to engage in complex legal matters involving historic tax credits and renewable energy tax credits, providing comprehensive legal counsel from transaction structuring to final execution.

Duties: 

• Lead or assist in structuring tax credit transactions, including historic and renewable energy tax credits.
• Review financial projections and negotiate key business and legal terms in tax credit deals.
• Draft, review, and negotiate tax equity, loan documents, and legal opinions.
• Conduct thorough due diligence to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Oversee end-to-end project management for tax credit transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a law firm setting focused on tax credit finance.
• Proficiency in managing all aspects of tax credit transactions, from initial structuring to completion.
• Exceptional project management and negotiation skills in legal and financial contexts.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a nationally accredited and recognized law school.

Certifications

• Admission to Florida Bar, or eligibility for admission.
