Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from inception to resolution

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

• Conduct legal research and analyze case law relevant to ongoing matters

• Oversee written and oral discovery, including depositions

• Attend court hearings, mediations, and negotiate settlements

• Participate in trial preparation and courtroom litigation when necessary

• Collaborate with the legal team and partners on case strategies and client updates

• Maintain effective and timely communication with clients and opposing counsel

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in civil litigation within a law firm setting (newly admitted attorneys are also encouraged to apply)

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage litigation tasks

• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a collaborative team

• Commitment to delivering excellent client service and legal outcomes

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership and good standing with the State Bar of California

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research platforms and case management software

• Confident in client interaction and case negotiation

• Skilled in taking and defending depositions and presenting arguments in court

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Strategic thinker with attention to detail and a proactive approach
