Duties

• Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody, and support.
• Manage cases from intake through resolution, including litigation and settlement.
• Conduct client consultations and develop case strategies.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Perform legal research and factual investigation.
• Negotiate settlements and parenting plans.
• Advocate for clients at hearings and trials.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for court appearances.
• Maintain compassionate communication with clients.
• Collaborate with case managers and attorneys for efficient case management.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing in MO (TX, KS, IL a plus).
• 1-3 years of experience in family law or related civil litigation.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High emotional intelligence and professionalism.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
• Commitment to ethical practice and client-focused representation.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed and in good standing in MO (TX, KS, IL a plus).
