The candidate will provide support and advice on a wide variety of labor and employment issues across the United States. Work with internal stakeholders to develop, review and update employment-related policies. Partner with internal business and corporate teams to evaluate and interpret laws and regulations. Prepare and provide training sessions and materials. Manage employment litigation, claims and disputes and advise/partner with internal business clients on all areas of employment law including benefits and immigration matters. Manage external counsel in accordance with outside counsel guidelines, within specified budgetary limits, and in line with business and legal management’s expectations. Work collaboratively across the Legal Department, including the Company’s global team of regional-based attorneys, to build consensus on process improvements and drive corporate legal projects to completion. Must be able to work under tight deadlines and interact with lawyers and business teams and human resources globally.
