The candidate will be responsible for Drafting, reviewing and negotiating company contracts, requests for proposals and other legal documents. Oversee all client and vendor contracting for west coast operations. Serve as the Legal Department expert resource on employment related laws and regulations. Research unique legal issues that could impact the company. Coordinate and oversee certain outside counsel. Offer counsel on a variety of legal issues to corporate stakeholders including management, sales personnel, human resources personnel and marketing staff. Draft and/or lead implementation of material Company policies related to legal process, corporate governance, and regulatory affairs. Engage in other matters as assigned by GC. Design and oversee the implementation of material legal department operational processes including: Implementing and standardizing an enterprise wide contracting process; implementing enterprise wide delegated signature process; implementing and managing annual contract template review process; and managing standardization of material contract terms.
