The candidate will be reviewing title and survey. Preparing for and helping manage due diligence and transaction closings, including managing surveyors and other diligence professionals, drafting diligence and closing checklists, organizing and proofreading and assembling materials, and preparing closing transcripts. Drafting and revising financing documents, including UCC financing statements and basic mortgage and deed of trust instruments. Handling document recordation. Researching industry databases, publicly-available information from local governments and other sources. Should have college degree and 3+ years of real estate experience with a law firm, in an underwriting-support role with a title company, with a commercial lender, or with other related organizations.
