EDGAR Specialist

The candidate will convert Word and Excel files to both EDGAR and PDF file formats. Ensure content and style are properly rendered in the output. Proof of complex style, composition, and spelling errors. Correct errors and revise documents as per client instructions with speed and accuracy. Review and meet stringent deadlines timely and effective. Transmit SEC filings in accordance with applicable requirements. Maintain records related to all steps of the EDGAR conversion and filing process and client information. Maintain and update client information via internal systems and secured SEC websites. Provide support to all team members by working collaboratively to ensure all source documents are converted properly to the required format. Should have a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of professional experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong knowledge of EDGARizer and/or EDGAR HTML preferred. Professional services industry experience a plus; a service-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills; ability to multi-task projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality; ability to perform in a deadline-driven environment; ability to work effectively and collaboratively with attorneys and other team members; strong verbal and written communications skills; knowledge of SEC filing and reporting requirements and iXBRL. Strong knowledge of financial documents, including compliance, transactional and mutual funds, is preferred.
