Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution

• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings

• Develop case strategy, conduct discovery, draft motions and pleadings, and handle trials and appeals

• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through strategic advice and responsive service

• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure optimal client outcomes

• Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and growth strategies

• Participate in business development, marketing, and networking efforts

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience focused on civil and commercial matters

• Demonstrated ability to originate and retain clients

• Established portable book of business strongly preferred

• Proven record of independently handling litigation files, including trials

• Strong leadership qualities and an aptitude for mentoring junior attorneys or staff

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar

Skills:

• Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills

• Proficiency in legal research, case strategy, and courtroom procedures
