Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of complex commercial litigation experience to join its Litigation Department. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex litigation matters, with the opportunity to work on high-stakes cases and grow within a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

Location:

• Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

• Manage complex commercial litigation cases from initial filing through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and arguments.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case development and litigation strategy.
• Interact with clients to provide updates and address concerns.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates and support staff.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
• Strong experience in drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, and handling discovery.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Licensed to practice law in California or ability to obtain licensure.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of California.

Skills:

• Strong background in complex commercial litigation.
• Proficient in legal research and writing.
• Experience with depositions, pleadings, and motions.
