A law firm seeks an Associate Criminal Defense Attorney in Riverside, CA. This role offers the opportunity to manage a caseload from initial client meetings through trial, reporting to the Managing Criminal Defense Attorney.

Duties

• Meet with new clients alongside the Managing Attorney to analyze legal cases.
• Attend court hearings, prepare cases for trial, and continue cases as necessary.
• Meet clients in jail to discuss case preparation when needed.
• Draft motions to advance criminal cases.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of criminal defense experience handling state cases.
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively with clients and staff.
• Spanish/English bilingual preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Valid Bar license.

Skills

• Experience in criminal defense law.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
