A law firm seeks a compassionate and skilled Family Law Attorney to join a multicultural team, providing legal representation in all areas of family law. The attorney will assist clients with navigating sensitive legal matters, such as prenuptial agreements, divorce, alimony, child custody, and domestic violence cases. Duties

• Represent clients during court hearings and legal proceedings.
• Manage and maintain organized client files to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information.

• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court orders for various family law cases.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and paralegals to navigate the civil litigation process efficiently.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience handling family law cases.
• Proven ability to represent both plaintiffs and defendants in legal disputes.
• Strong litigation experience, particularly in family law matters such as child custody, support, and equitable distribution.
• Experience in drafting legal documents and conducting discovery.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-stress situations.

Education

• A bachelor's degree with a legal background.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina.
• Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).
