Duties:

• Draft legal documents including letters, memos, motions, pleadings, and orders.
• Assist the lead attorney in preparing for upcoming hearings and court appearances.
• Manage case files, ensuring deadlines are met and cases are progressing efficiently.
• Coordinate discovery processes with legal support staff and paralegals.
• Conduct legal research on diverse topics related to ongoing cases.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and the legal team to ensure smooth case management.

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of legal experience, preferably in litigation.
• Strong academic record with a graduation from law school in the top 25% of the class.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills, demonstrated by top marks in these areas during law school.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Adobe is essential.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting with a reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment.
• Proactive, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Cum laude or higher graduation status preferred.

Certifications:

• Must be admitted to the Bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Familiarity with Clio case management software is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Adobe.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
