Duties:

• Assist in handling civil litigation cases from inception through resolution

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials

• Support senior attorneys with trial preparation and strategy

• Maintain communication with clients and opposing counsel

• Manage case files and ensure timely filing of legal documents

• Analyze complex factual and legal issues and develop case strategies

Requirements:

• Admission to the Tennessee Bar and in good standing

• Experience in civil litigation preferred

• Eligibility for licensure in Arkansas or Mississippi is considered a plus

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters with attention to detail

• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Tennessee law license

• Licensure in Arkansas or Mississippi is a bonus, but not mandatory

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research and drafting

• Strong oral advocacy and negotiation techniques

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Familiarity with litigation software and case management tools
