Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Innovation Attorney to join their team in Los Angeles,  This role serves as a vital link between the firm's legal professionals, clients, and the Technology & Information Services Department, ensuring that technology systems and services meet the needs of attorneys and clients effectively.

Duties

• Stay informed about emerging technologies and innovative offerings.
• Provide updates and analysis of new technologies to firm management.
• Identify opportunities to leverage technologies into specific practices.
• Coordinate pilot and proof of concept programs.
• Work with management to recommend strategic deployment of technology solutions.
• Communicate with third-party vendors to foster strong relationships.
• Protect and maintain sensitive and confidential information.

Requirements

• Understanding of product development and management.
• Proficiency in enterprise PC applications like MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
• Knowledge of LegalTech product categories.

Education

• JD or equivalent, and admission to the relevant state bar.

Certifications

• Completion of an intensive software development/coding bootcamp preferred.

Skills

• Experience as a practicing lawyer or in a legal operations role.
• Experience in a technology role preferred.
