A law firm seeks a Commercial Business Litigation Attorney in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of commercial litigation experience and a strong academic background. Admission to the California Bar is preferred but not initially required.

Duties

• Write briefs and lead investigations.
• Manage discovery and prepare witnesses for trial.
• Take depositions and formulate case strategies.
• Argue motions and manage day-to-day litigation tasks.
• Engage in client contact as appropriate based on experience.
• Travel for trials, hearings, and depositions as needed.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Experience in intellectual property, securities, privacy, and other areas.
• Strong writing skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Experience with pre-trial work, investigations, and/or trials.
• Judicial clerkship experience is encouraged but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree with outstanding academic achievement.

Certifications

• Admission to the California Bar preferred.
