The ideal candidate have 2+ years of transactional M&A experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel. Prior experience should include conducting and managing due diligence, drafting and negotiating transactional documents, handling closings of acquisitions and divestitures and managing post-deal integration. Broad experience in a variety of corporate transactional matters preferred, including drafting governance documents for various entity structures, providing corporate governance advice and negotiating complex commercial contracts. Candidates must have excellent legal research, writing and analytical skills, a record of academic achievement, and be self-starters who are able to work within a team environment and on their own. Candidates should expect and be comfortable with direct client interaction and advice.
