A respected law firm is seeking a talented Construction Litigation Associate to join its Construction Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience litigating construction-related matters and be ready to contribute to a well-established team handling complex disputes. Location:

• Columbus, OH

Duties:

• Represent clients in construction-related litigation matters

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda

• Manage cases involving construction defects, delays, design errors, and contract or payment disputes

• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies

• Participate in depositions, mediations, and court proceedings

• Collaborate with partners and peers on case development and execution

• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and opposing counsel

Requirements:

• 3–6 years of litigation experience with a focus on construction law

• Prior experience with construction defect claims, delay disputes, and payment-related issues preferred

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation matters independently

• Proven commitment to client service and professional excellence

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic background preferred

Certifications:

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Ohio (required)
