Duties

• Manage personal injury litigation from filing through verdict.
• Develop case strategy and litigation plans.
• Lead depositions of parties, experts, and corporate representatives.
• Conduct mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Evaluate case value and provide strategic guidance on pre-litigation files.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions.
• Prepare cases for trial and conduct jury trials.
• Mentor attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
• Partner with leadership on litigation strategy and department growth.
• Build referral relationships and expand professional networks.

Requirements

• 10+ years of trial-heavy personal injury litigation experience.
• Proven first chair counsel with successful verdicts.
• Skilled at voir dire, opening statements, direct/cross of experts, and closing arguments.
• Demonstrated negotiation and mediation results.
• Experience supervising other attorneys on trial teams.
• Strong command of evidence, expert testimony, and complex litigation issues.
• Contributes to business development.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia.
