This position will involve managing a caseload of complex litigation matters, including personal injury, medical malpractice, and insurance defense cases. The successful candidate will handle own files and collaborate with a senior attorney to devise litigation strategies and ensure top-notch client service. Duties:

• Manage complex litigation cases from inception to trial or settlement.
• Conduct thorough legal research and provide insightful guidance to clients on legal issues.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Perform depositions, prepare witnesses, and handle court appearances.
• Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediation and arbitration.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.
• Keep up to date with legal developments and maintain knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently while managing a high-volume caseload.
• Demonstrated success in defending clients in complex litigation matters.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
• Experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York Bar.
