The candidate within the unit representing the Idaho Department of Correction (IDOC). This unit provides legal representation to the Idaho Board of Correction, Idaho Commission for Pardons and Parole and their employees on a wide variety of matters, including: prison civil rights litigation; employment matters; reviewing and drafting contracts, policies and procedures, and legislation; assisting in public records responses; and a broad range of other matters. Must be licensed to practice law in Idaho. Experience in corrections, contracts, employment law, civil rights law, and/or government liability law is desirable. Enthusiasm for public service is essential.
