A law firm seeks an experienced Probate Attorney in Coral Gables, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in probate and estate litigation, with a focus on protecting executors and ensuring fair treatment of beneficiaries. This role requires a minimum of four years of experience in probate litigation, along with proficiency in legal research, writing, and courtroom practice.

Duties

• Manage cases from inception to resolution.
• Delegate and supervise work of paralegals and assistants.
• Review and edit probate documents for various administrations and conservatorships.
• Draft complaints, motions, and other pleadings for contested matters.
• Conduct legal research on probate issues.
• Draft and respond to interrogatories, subpoenas, and document requests.
• Attend meetings and court hearings.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in probate, guardianship, and adversarial probate.
• Ability to independently manage files from start to finish.
• Membership in The Florida Bar.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.
