Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing team in Los Angeles, California. The firm is looking for attorneys at all experience levels, ranging from recent California Bar admittees to seasoned professionals. Associates will assist with a wide variety of litigation matters, including personal injury, employment, civil rights, and more. The role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on legal experience, work closely with other attorneys, and receive valuable trial exposure. The firm fosters a collaborative environment where associates are expected to demonstrate strong research, writing, and analytical skills while handling cases from start to finish.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis for ongoing litigation cases.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage litigation caseloads, including preparing for court appearances, depositions, and client communications.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners in case strategy and decision-making.
• Participate in trial preparation and represent clients in court hearings and proceedings.
• Provide high-quality legal work product that meets firm standards.

Requirements:

• Admission to the California State Bar.
• Experience in litigation is preferred, though all experience levels are considered.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Excellent communication skills for working with clients, opposing counsel, and colleagues.
• Desire to gain trial experience and work on complex litigation matters.
• Admission to the Nevada Bar is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California Bar in good standing (required).
• Nevada Bar admission is a plus.

Skills:

• Legal research and writing proficiency.
• Strong drafting skills, particularly in pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Ability to handle multiple cases and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
