Job Overview:
A respected law firm based in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to manage a high volume of personal injury litigation cases, including complex trial work. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation acumen, courtroom confidence, and a collaborative spirit. This role offers the opportunity to lead and contribute to impactful cases on behalf of injured plaintiffs, with a particular focus on trial preparation and execution.

Duties:

• Manage personal injury cases from filing through trial and post-trial phases

• Lead litigation strategy and direct case planning efforts

• Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts

• Review and provide input on drafted legal documents

• Coordinate trial preparation, including Motions in Limine and related filings

• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations and arbitrations

• Serve as lead or co-counsel during jury trials

• Draft and argue post-trial motions

• Provide informed legal advice and updates to clients throughout litigation

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-5 years of civil litigation experience with a focus on personal injury

• At least 3 first-chair jury trials completed

• Demonstrated ability to manage high caseloads under strict deadlines

• Proficiency in legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy

• Skilled in motion practice and strategic planning

• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills

• Must be an active member, in good standing, of the California State Bar

• Spanish fluency strongly preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar in good standing
