A law firm in Maitland, FL, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join its dynamic team. Duties:

• Represent clients in medical malpractice cases, from initial client consultation to trial and appeal if necessary.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and arguments.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and pleadings.
• Collaborate with legal assistants, paralegals, and other staff to ensure case progression.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as required.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Stay updated on changes in medical malpractice laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Proven experience as a Medical Malpractice Attorney.
• Strong work ethic and ability to handle a high level of responsibility.
• Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to handle cases in other practice areas if necessary.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
