Duties

• Draft and oppose motions for class certification, summary judgment, and discovery-related matters.
• Collaborate with trial attorneys to develop legal strategies for class action and PAGA cases.
• Conduct legal research on complex labor law issues.
• Argue motions and oppositions in court.
• Analyze deposition transcripts and expert reports to inform motion work.
• Participate in meet-and-confers and liaise with opposing counsel.
• Stay current on labor and employment law developments.

Requirements

• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Excellence in legal writing, research, and analysis.
• Familiarity with the California Labor Code and relevant federal wage laws.
• Experience drafting or opposing dispositive and class certification motions.
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior class action, PAGA, or employment law experience required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
