Duties:

• Defend employers in complex class actions, collective and representative actions, and single-plaintiff lawsuits.
• Handle wage-and-hour, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases.
• Advise employers on employment law issues including compliance and risk management.
• Conduct workplace investigations and provide employee training on legal matters.
• Collaborate with team members on employment litigation strategies.
• Engage in client counseling regarding employment-related matters.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in employment law or strong litigation background with an interest in employment law.
• Must be admitted to practice law in California.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation cases.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in the state of California.

Skills:

• Expertise in employment counseling and/or litigation.
• Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
