A law firm seeks a Senior Associate Corporate Attorney for a full-time hybrid role in Prairie Village, KS. The attorney will provide legal advice, conduct research, and handle various corporate matters, including business transactions and capital raises.

Duties

• Assist with the formation and structure of entities, drafting governance documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide advice on corporate finance and M&A matters.
• Support the preparation of client presentations and legal recommendations.
• Participate in client meetings and conference calls to discuss strategies.
• Draft, review, and revise contracts and other legal documents.
• Assist with due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions.
• Prepare closing documents and coordinate business deal closings.
• Review compliance documents and corporate records.
• Organize files to ensure accessibility for attorneys and staff.
• Collaborate with clients and staff to efficiently resolve cases.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Admission to the state bar in Missouri or Kansas.
• Willingness to learn from senior attorneys.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar in Missouri or Kansas.
