Duties

• Handle client invoicing and billing records.
• Draft correspondence and legal documents.
• Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies.
• Appear in court and represent clients in various immigration matters.
• Conduct client intake and consultations.
• Maintain reports on client caseload.
• Participate in community meetings.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong public speaking and decision-making skills.
• Active membership in a local bar association preferred.
• Ability to handle a heavy caseload independently.
• Strong knowledge of legal research programs.
• Over one year of experience in a law firm.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Current Bar Membership in good standing, preferably California Bar.
