Transactional Associate
The candidate will have the opportunity to engage in a full range of transactions to enable clients to fulfill public and non-profit missions. Representative projects include joint ventures, intellectual property licensing agreements, private equity offerings, asset and stock purchases and sales, new markets and historic tax credit financings and contracting among educational service providers, schools, school districts, and the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Must have 3+ years of experience in transactional work, in particular working with public entities and nonprofit-exempt organizations. Should have top academic credentials, excellent writing skills and the ability to think strategically, along with the desire to manage complex transactions, while being mindful of the regulatory structures to which public and nonprofit clients are subject.
