Duties

• Represent clients in all phases of commercial litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appellate work.
• Develop litigation strategies and provide counsel on complex business disputes.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct depositions, witness preparation, and discovery management.
• Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions when appropriate.
• Advise clients on risk management and legal exposure related to business operations.
• Stay current with state and federal laws relevant to commercial litigation.
• Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with legal staff to ensure efficient case handling.

Requirements

• 13 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Proven track record of handling complex and high-value business litigation matters.
• Extensive trial experience, including direct and cross-examination skills.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple high-profile cases simultaneously.
• Exceptional client relationship management skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in California, in good standing.
