Duties
Manage a caseload involving insurance defense matters such as personal injury, property damage, and liability claims
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
Provide legal advice and case strategy to clients
Collaborate with internal legal teams to ensure effective representation
Stay current with laws, rulings, and regulations relevant to insurance defense
Requirements
5–10 years of experience in insurance defense litigation
Demonstrated trial experience
Ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously
High ethical standards and professionalism
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications
Active and good standing membership with the Louisiana State Bar
