Duties

• Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff.
• Provide legal counsel by analyzing client needs and determining appropriate actions.
• Represent clients in court, arguing motions during proceedings.
• Prepare legal documents, including briefs, motions, and pleadings.
• Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions.
• Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies.

Requirements

• Experience managing cases in state and federal courts.
• Proficiency in supervising and mentoring staff.
• Ability to manage discovery and take/defend depositions.
• Skilled in writing petitions, complaints, motions, and briefs with minimal supervision.
• Preparedness for trial.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in the State of Kentucky.

Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Advanced skills in legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis).
