A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its growing Intellectual Property practice. This position focuses on patent litigation and provides the opportunity to represent a diverse national and international client base. Ideal candidates will bring 1–3 years of intellectual property litigation experience and a strong academic background. Technical expertise in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science is highly preferred, as is prior clerkship experience. The position offers significant potential for professional growth within a collaborative and client-focused environment.

Represent clients in complex patent litigation in federal courts
Assist in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial
Draft pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents
Conduct legal research and analyze technical materials related to IP disputes
Collaborate with cross-office teams on litigation strategy and client representation
Participate in client meetings, settlement discussions, and hearings
Maintain timely communication and excellent client service standards
1–3 years of intellectual property litigation experience
Background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science strongly preferred
Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong collaborative skills with a commitment to client service
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school
Strong academic credentials required
Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Patent Bar admission is a plus, but not required
Excellent legal research and analytical skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Familiarity with complex litigation procedures and patent law
Technical aptitude in engineering or computer science domains
Ability to work collaboratively across offices and practice areas
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
