A law firm seeks an experienced Employee Benefits Associate to join their collaborative ESOPs, Benefits & Compensation team in Williamsburg, VA. The team advises a diverse range of clients on benefits and compensation topics, including retirement plans, ESOPs, and executive agreements.

Duties

• Advise clients on employee benefits and executive compensation matters.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the ESOP practice.
• Build and maintain client relationships independently.
• Contribute to the growth of the team's capabilities and client base.

Requirements

• Two or more years of experience in employee benefits and executive compensation.
• Experience with private-company ESOPs is beneficial but not required.
• Commitment to a long-term career in employee benefits and executive compensation.
• Ability to work in any of the firm's office locations.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Virginia or North Carolina Bar, or ability to become licensed.
